# Can I delete my account?

**Yes**, you can delete your account yourself from your [Settings](https://app.geekymedics.com/account-settings/) page on [app.geekymedics.com](https://app.geekymedics.com).

1. Open the **Account** tab
2. Scroll down to **Danger zone**
3. Click **Delete account** and confirm

||| **Please note:** ⚠️ This action is permanent and cannot be undone. All of your data, including saved quizzes, OSCE stations and progress, will be deleted.

## What if I also have a SimChat account?

If your email address is linked to a SimChat account as well, you’ll be asked to choose what to delete:

* **Delete my Geeky Medics account only** - keeps your SimChat account and organisation memberships intact
* **Delete everything** - removes both your Geeky Medics and SimChat accounts

Training records held by your SimChat organisations stay with them, as they remain the data controller for that data.
