# How do I change my email preferences?

You can manage your email preferences on the **Account** tab of your [Settings](https://app.geekymedics.com/account-settings/) page.

Under **Email preferences** you'll find two switches:

* **Features and products** - emails about new features and products
* **Questions and discussions** - emails about questions and discussions you're following

Turn either switch off to opt out. These changes take effect immediately.

Please note: if you purchase a product, you'll still receive **transactional emails**, such as order confirmations and receipts. These are necessary for your account and can’t be turned off.
