# How do I generate an OSCE station with AI?

You can use our AI-powered station generator to create OSCE stations. 

All users can generate up to 5 OSCE stations for free. If you have an active subscription to our [OSCE Stations collection](https://app.geekymedics.com/purchase/osce-stations/) (or a [plan](https://app.geekymedics.com/purchase/bundles/) that includes it), you can generate up to 25 stations at no extra cost. After these limits, each additional station uses 3 [AI credits](https://support.geekymedics.com/en/article/what-are-ai-credits-124hbwj/).

## How to generate an OSCE station

1. Go to the [OSCE Station Generator](https://app.geekymedics.com/osce-stations/generate/)
2. Choose whether you'd like the AI to generate a **completely random** station or follow specific input you provide (e.g. presentation, patient details, ICE)
3. Click **Generate station**
4. The generated station will be saved to your [personal OSCE station library](https://app.geekymedics.com/osce-stations/?personal=true)

## What type of stations can the AI create?

At present, the AI can generate **history taking, counselling**, and **clinical examination** stations.

## Can I edit the generated station?

Yes! Once the station is created, you can edit any part of it, just like any other personal OSCE station.

If your patient script is detailed enough, history taking and counselling stations are also set up with a [virtual patient](/en/article/how-do-i-access-the-virtual-patients-ai-patients-1i6in4b/) automatically, so you can start talking to them straight away.
