How do I set up group practice mode for SCA cases and circuits?
Group practice mode allows you to practise SCA cases with others, either in person or remotely. It is available for every SCA case in our case bank. Group practice mode is not available to be used with our virtual patients or examiners.
To use group practice mode, you need a minimum of two people: one person to be the candidate, and one person to be the examiner (this person can also act as the patient)
Navigate to the SCA case you wish to practice
Click the Group practice box
Share the pin with your study partners (they can access the join group practice option from the SCA cases menu), or ask them to scan the QR code
Allocate your study partners to their roles (i.e. candidate, examiner, patient, or observer) using the dropdown menu
Click "Start group practice"
Once you click start group practice, you and your study partners will be re-directed to the relevant page. For example, the candidate will see the candidate instructions, the patient will see the patient instructions and so on.
If you are practicing remotely, don't forget to join the audio channel so that you can hear each other!
