How do I redeem an institutional access code?

If your university or organisation holds a Geeky Medics institutional licence, we issue an access code that unlocks your access. This article explains how those codes work.

Access codes are issued to your institution by Geeky Medics. If you haven’t been given one, ask whoever coordinates the licence where you study or work - we can’t issue codes to individual students directly.

Redeeming your code

Log in to app.geekymedics.com, or register a free account if you don’t have one
Go to https://app.geekymedics.com/purchase/institutional-access/
Enter your code and click Redeem code

Codes aren’t case-sensitive. If your institution shared a direct link instead, clicking it redeems the code for you.

What will my code unlock?

That depends on the licence your institution has taken out. A code can grant any combination of our products - OSCE stations, question banks, flashcard collections, OSCE guides and more - and may include AI credits too.

If you’re not sure what your licence covers, your institution will be able to tell you.

How long will I have access?

Most institutional codes grant access for a year from the day you redeem it, but this varies by agreement. Redeem your code as soon as you receive it so you don’t lose any of your access period.

Each code has a limited number of places and, in some cases, a redemption window with a start and end date.
