How do I set up group practice mode for stations and circuits?

Group practice mode allows you to practise OSCE stations with others, either in person or remotely. It is available for every OSCE station in our station bank. Group practice mode is not available to be used with our virtual patients or examiners.

To use group practice mode, you need a minimum of two people: one person to be the candidate, and one person to be the examiner (this person can also act as the patient)

How to set up group practice mode for a single station

Navigate to the OSCE station you wish to practice
Click the Group practice box
Share the pin with your study partners (they can access the join group practice option from the OSCE Stations menu), or ask them to scan the QR code
Allocate your study partners to their roles (i.e. candidate, examiner, patient, or observer) using the dropdown menu
Click "Start group practice"
Once you click start group practice, you and your study partners will be re-directed to the relevant page. For example, the candidate will see the candidate instructions, the patient will see the patient instructions and so on.
If you are practicing remotely, don't forget to join the audio channel so that you can hear each other!

How to set up group practice mode for an OSCE circuit

Navigate to the OSCE circuit that you wish to practice
Scroll to the bottom of the circuit and select the Group practice mode
Share the pin with your study partners (they can access the join group practice option from the OSCE Stations menu), or ask them to scan the QR code
Allocate your study partners their roles (i.e. candidate, examiner, patient, or observer) using the dropdown menu
Click "Start group practice", and users will be re-directed to the page relevant to their role.
If you are practicing remotely, don't forget to join the audio channel so that you can hear each other!
At the end of the first station, all participants will be moved on to the next station in the circuit by the examiner.
