The Geeky Medics SCA platform allows you to create, share, and practise cases for the MRCGP Simulated Consultation Assessment (SCA).
This article explains how the platform works and which features are available for free.
To get started, create a free account at app.geekymedics.com. Once logged in, you can access the SCA platform here:

Free users get full access to our SCA case creator tool, which allows you to:
Create unlimited SCA cases
Organise cases into shareable circuits
Practise with others using Group Practice Mode
Each case includes:
Candidate instructions
Patient script
Examiner checklist based on the SCA marking domains
A built-in timer
You’ll also have access to 6 free pre-written SCA cases to get you started.
The subscription includes:
Access to 200+ pre-written SCA cases
The ability to arrange cases into custom circuits
The AI-powered virtual examiner, which marks your performance using the checklist and provides personalised feedback - including on communication and interpersonal skills
AI credits unlock our most advanced tools, including:
Virtual patient voice - the patient speaks aloud in consultations
Advanced mode - real-time conversations with high-fidelity virtual patients
Use of the AI examiner for personal cases (if you don’t have a subscription)
AI credits are optional - you can still access text-based virtual patients and all core features for free.
