How can I find other people to practise OSCEs with?
If solo practice isn’t for you, and you’d prefer to build your skills by practising with other students rather than our AI-powered virtual patients and examiners - we’ve got you covered.
If you don’t already have a group of peers to practise with, here are two ways you can connect with others using our platform.
Option 1: Find a partner through the OSCE Stations platform
Click Find a partner on the OSCE stations page or on any station’s overview page. You can also go straight to the lobby at https://app.geekymedics.com/group-session/find-a-partner/
We’ll then look for another Geeky Medic who’s also waiting to practise. You can turn on browser notifications so you’re alerted as soon as you’re matched, rather than watching the page.
Once you’ve been paired up, click Start chat. You'll be prompted to grant camera and microphone permissions (your camera will be off by default, and you can mute your mic if preferred).
You can:
- Chat using text, audio, or video
- Use screen sharing
- Discuss OSCE stations together
- Launch Group Practice Mode if you'd like to work through a station collaboratively
Option 2: Join our OSCE community on Discord
We host a friendly and active Discord community where users discuss OSCEs, share tips, and form revision groups.
If nobody’s in the lobby, click Go to Discord from the Find a partner page.
Or join directly using this link:

Already have a study group?
If someone has already set up a session, click Join group practice under OSCE stations & virtual patients in the sidebar and enter their session PIN.
