Introduction to our OSCE station platform
We've built a custom OSCE platform which allows you to create, share and practise OSCE stations. In this article, we'll explain how the platform works and which features are available for free. This article explains the difference between OSCE Guides and OSCE Stations. OSCE Guides OSCE guides are step-by-step instructional guides for each clinical skill. These are used to review how to perform a skill and usually include step-by-step images and a video demonstration. Our OSCE guides are available for free on geekymedics.com and include advertising. Unfortunately, we currently do not offer offline access. A network connection is required to access our OSCE stations. However, if you have created a station, you can print these out for offline access. There is a PDF/print button available within the candidate, patient, and examiner instructions.Few readers

How to create and share OSCE stations
With our OSCE Station creator, you can create your own OSCE stations and organise your OSCE stations into shareable circuits, making it easy to set up mock OSCE sessions with friends. Or, you can ask AI to create a station for you. You can even create an AI-driven virtual patient! All of this functionality is available to everyone for free. You can use our OSCE station platform to run a mock OSCE by building custom OSCE station circuits. AI-driven virtual patients and examiners
How do I access the Virtual Patients (AI patients)?
AI-driven virtual patients are available for many of our pre-made OSCE stations, and you can also create your own! You can interact with the virtual patients to practise your communication and clinical reasoning skills (check out a demo here). You can upgrade your OSCE station virtual patient experience by purchasing AI credits. AI credits unlock our advanced AI making your consultations with our virtual patients more realistic. Instead of typing to you, our AI-driven virtual patients will use their voice to talk to you. You also have access to a higher grade of AI. This makes for a high-fidelity OSCE learning experience. On our free tier, the virtual patient will type back to you in response to your typed or spoken message. AI credits are required to unlock virtual patient voices, allowing the virtual patient to reply using their voice. Once you've purchased AI credits, you can select the "Patient voice" option when interacting with a virtual patient. Yes, our virtual patients support multiple languages. To change the language used during a consultation with our virtual patients, click the globe icon in the chatbox.
